DescriptionMagnificent and rare vintage 1940s Trifari Sterling Vermeil faux emerald and sapphire glass figural dragonfly brooch or pin. The brooch was designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari. The brooch features sapphire and emerald green triangular glass stones that represent the wings on the dragonfly. His body is sterling silver with a lustrous gold wash and embellished with a row of diamante or pave set crystal rhinestones. It is a fabulous, large and hard to find brooch. The pin is hallmarked Trifari with the Crown over the T and Sterling.

Measures 2.5\" x 2\" and is in very good to excellent vintage condition. There is minor wear to the gold plating on the reverse which is very much enhanced in my photos as they are digital macro and highly magnified.
