This is a piece of unusual artwork created by Anatoly Turovo, an artist from Russia. I\'ve never seen another Christmas Cat, only winter scenes, and I believe this is quite rare. The original gold seal is on the back and it is signed on the bottom by the artist. This is hand painted, and you can feel the paint and glaze under your fingers! The figure is new, although retired an no longer available. It was among the many nice things I purchased at a warehouse sale for a boutique that went out of business some time ago. The colors are gorgeous, and the art very whimsical with the snowman having what looks like a pail on his head and the tree is decorated with a bells, ball and present and a white rabbit. All on a dark blue background of sky and stars. The figurine is 9\" tall from pointed ears to the bottom base. The widest area across the center is approximately 5 1/4\" with a depth of 2 1/2\" through the center. Just a crazy, lovely work of art! Please, buyer should pay within three days of the end of sale. I do whatever I can to reduce the cost of shipping. The amount listed here is simply an estimate and very seldom is it increased, and then only for real distance, weight of the package and insurance.
