I combine shipping for domestic orders. Lightweight books and single issue magazines will ship via First Class mail. The cut-off for First Class mail is 13 ounces. (I use rigid, but light weight packing materials that do not add a lot of weight so I try to keep shipping costs as low as possible). Multiple issues go out via Media mail.
I ship internationally. It has been years since USPS did away with a slow but economical international shipping method, so everything goes First Class International and just to send a small paperbook costs over $12.00.
Everything is packed with the expectation that it is going to be poorly treated as soon as it leaves my hands. A few years ago I shipped a magazine to Portugal. The address was wrong so it was returned a month or two later. I opened it and it was just how I had packed it.

I am a life long collector of books and magazines. I have been successfully hoarding printed matter since since I was 14 years of age. When I say successfully I mean with storage bins, industrial shelving and comic book long boxes. I am in my early Fifties so needless to say I have a lot of inventory.
I work full time in the mental health field as a therapist and sell on because it enriches my life whenever I connect with people who share my interest in print media.
