(2)Soup Bowls measuring 8.5” in diameter; (1) Bullfinch & (1) Chaffinch

(1)Cereal Bowl measuring 5 3/8” in diameter: Nightingale

(1)Salad Plate measuring 8.5” in diameter: Rose Coloured Starling

IDENTIFYING MARKS/SIGNATURES: Each is markedPORTMEIRION 1794 1978 Birds Of Britain By E. Donovan Susan Williams-EllisDishwasher Proof INGLAZE DECORATION

CONDITION: One of the dinner plates has 4 small lightbeige spots and the Chaffinch soup bowl also has 4 light beige discolorationspots. Otherwise, all other pieces are in VERY good to excellent overallvintage condition with absolutely no damage of any kind. NO chips, cracks or otherwisedamage other than the two pieces mentioned above with (4) age spots. As a sidenote, I found an article online that indicated age spots and crazing could beremoved from pottery & ceramics by soaking in peroxide (the kind purchasedfrom a beauty supply store) I have not, however tried this though all were handwashed with a mild dish detergent.

Theseand other pottery and ceramic pieces were purchased from a recent estatecollection. Typically, I only sell vintage jewelry though the pieces listed hereand in my other listings were so beautiful I had to purchase them. I am NOT nordo I profess to be a collector or “professional” collector/ ceramic potteryaficionado and greatly appreciate any information or tips from those of you whoare willing to share. I purchase and list only what I “like” and hope that someof you do as well!

Pleasenote that in many cases I choose not to apply a thorough cleaning to vintageand antique pieces for fear of damage as I am NOT a professional in thatarena. Excellent vintage condition doesnot mean “new” as many of my listings are 50+ years old. Additionally, displayitems are not included as part of the listing unless otherwise indicated.
