I have TWO LIMITED EDITION gold and silver Civil War Chess Sets produced by Franklin Mint in 1988 in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Each chess set boasts 24k gold and silver electroplated chess pieces which distinguish them from the more common grey and blue Franklin Mint Civil War chess sets cast in pewter. One set is near Mint condition. The playing surface is clean and so is the box that holds the pieces. There are only very slight blemishes on this set. You will not find a set in better shape than this. This set has all the paper work and Certificate of Authenticity.

The second set shows signs of wear and has stains on the playing surface (as pictured). Also, the second set has two gold queens but no gold king. That\'s how i got it, sorry. You can sell this set for pieces. This set has almost all the booklets but no COA.
