HERE WE HAVE FOR SALE AN UNUSUAL DEPICTION OF TWO WATER CARRIERS.

This ornament depicts a time long ago when water had to be toted from a well for use in the fields or home. The figures are dressed in old fashioned clothing, with yokes across their shoulders to ease their burden. One bucket is missing, and the lady carrier is held on to the semi circular wooden plinth by one screw, so it needs some attention to bring this item back to its full glory. The figures and buckets are of brass.The height of this piece is 3 and 1/2 inches tall and, is nearly 5 inches wide.
