This is a very, very lovely TY Beanie Original Baby Mystic Unicorn. She has the pink iridescent horn. Her mane and tail are coarse, of white yarn. She has blue eyes, and she is just as pristine white, soft and plush as the day she came my way. Mystic\'s Tags are unblemished, without tears, creases, or stains.
Mystic Unicorn has a fifth generation swing tag with her date of birth listed as May 21,1994. The heart-shaped swing tag is red with smooth gold foil applied evenly around the edges, with no misspelling of \"original\" within the sunshiny yellow star.This swing tag was introduced 10/25/97 and retired 12/31/1998.
There is only one error: The comic sans font normally looks like this: \" ...blue eyes!\" and is narrowly spaced. Between the last word of the poem and exclamation mark is a typo. On this particular tag it looks like this: \"...blue eyes !\" And this small error is partly what makes the Beanie Baby Mystic Unicorn sought after and collectible.
Mystic has a sixth generation tush tag, which came on the scene in January 1998 and ran through to the end of the year. The copyright reads, \"1993 Ty Inc.\"It also reads \"Handmade in China.\"Inside the labelthere is a red circular stamp with the number 200 and Chinese characters hugging the top circle, indicating the factory from which it came.All in all, this is an outstanding TY Beanie Baby Original Mystic Unicorn, is highly collectable, and is a great investment or gift for collectors of all ages, as it will only rise in value as the years go by. This unicorn has never been played with,nor has she been displayed, in a safe place away from the weather and sun, in a clean, smoke-free Environment. She has only had one owner. There are no odors or stains on any of the plush toys. I\'m actually quite fond of this darling little unicorn, and hope she will be a delight to you, too!
