Beautiful Finger Vase was designed by Tapio Wirkkala in Iittala glass factory and was manufactured throughout 1950\'s and in the early 1960\'s.
His inspiration came mostly from the powerful phenomenons of nature.Wirkkala did much of his initial design work using a traditional Finnish carving knife which he used to carve the first mold which would be later produced to metallic mold for glass blowers to use.
This matted art glass is signed by hand: Tapio Wirkkala Iittala - 3515Diameter: 8.5 cm (3\'25\") Height: 9 cm (3\'5\")
In great used condition without any cracks or chips missing.
