This is a vintage beautiful midcentury modern glass bowl designed by and signed Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala Finland dated 1955. The bowl has a wonderful abstract striped design and shape. Pictures were taken with and without flash to show off the beautiful lines and decoration and glass. The overall condition is very nice, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The top edge is marked as shown: Tapio Wirkkala Iittala 55. It would make a great addition to anyone\'s midcentury modern glass collection. Just shy of 5 3/4 inches long and just over 4 1/2 inches wide by just over 2 inches high at the end.

Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to within 2 days after sale end and yes it is allowed!!
