This is a beautiful necklace made up of many stones of different colours. Tawarawadee was a period in the history of Thailand around the 18th Century. The period had its own unique Tawarawadee architecture, dance and performing arts, and jewelry making.

The beads were said to protect from evil spirits, to bring wealth and happiness, usually worn by the most prominent in society due to their value.

These are a beautiful set of Tawarawadee beads and a rare addition to any collection.

Each bead measures between 8mm and 10mm approx. The necklace consists of 75 Tawarawadee beads.

The necklace measures 67cm.
