This is a vintage Chinese famille juane yellow tea set. Porcelain teapot and 8 handleless cups. The wanshou wujiang sayings are May you have ten thousand longevities without boundary. At one time the design was reserved for birthday of Chinese emperors and empresses according to my research. These items were made in the Hong Kong enameling workshop ACF. Imprinted in red on the bottom of each item is AFC Decorated in Hong Kong. Probably made in the last fourth of the 20th century.
Cups have 3\" diameter and are a little over 2\" tall. The teapot is about 6\" tall at the handle to the lid. From the top of the spout to the end of the handle is about 8.5\"
Excellent condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. The hand painting is vibrant and colorful. Yellow background with aqua, pink, blue, red and green. The painting workmanship has some sloppy places, but overall everything is very attractive.
These have been sitting on a shelf for many years.
