Elegant teak Stalk, probably early 1960\'s; I was born in 1950\'s and can remember this ornament at home, from my early childhood, so definitely original.Please Note: the legs have been repaired. Obviously dropped, as there are cracks at the back \'ankle\' area, and old repairs on the inside top of both legs. Not noticeable when displayed, however; I had always thought that the repairs were \'knots\' in the wood, until closer inspection.For this reason, there are few surviving specimens of this particular ornament, as the \'spindly legs\' meant many did not survive.Approx 11 and 1/4\" tall, or 29cms.
