This is a new twist on the traditional Huipil, now with the front open to make it a jacket. I just purchased this long Sleeved jacket on my latest trip to Chiapas. It is all Hand woven on a Back Strap Loom by Tzotzil Mayan women ofSan Andrés Larrainzar. It is a really Beautiful Teal Blue with Lavender & Cream color brocade work.

This jacket is a wonderful example of contemporary fashion trends such as; South Western,Frida Kahlo, Hippie,Santa Fe, Peasant, Boho Chic, Cow Girl Style!
