Trivial guff...merely to explain where some of the more unusual thingsI\'m listingmight\'ve come from:

From 1974-1978 I managed an indie/alternative record store here in Sydney (knownfirstly asRipple then Revolver Records)...along with the expected, we sold the most obscure imported stuff - from all the still-available 60\'s and 70\'s prog \'n\' psych stuff, 60\'s garage/surf/soul, 70\'s power-pop, plus we dived head-on into the early punk scene importing all the classic 7\"s from the US and UK scenes...then we also specialized in Krautrock imports from Germany (virtually all of which were still available at that time), and the latest reggae releases straight from Jamaica (we had thee coolest suppliers!)...in 1978/79, I lived in the UK & USA - my job descriptioninthe U.S. was simply:to buysecond-hand vinyl goodies in any of the above categories, with unlimited funds at my disposal (I doubt there\'s ever been a better job!...anywhere...ever)- to send back to Australia...then had my own record store in Sydney (with my great mate and business partner, Dare)...from 1979-1998...that was Phantom Records (we had a record label then as well - started purely coz, apart from the fact both our girlfriends were lead singers in bands that no major label was interested in,so were lots of our friends) - I\'d also roadied for, then managed, Radio Birdman in 1975/\'76, so was part of that camp - so our connections were good! - the label worked well for a while.

Anyway, what I\'m really getting at, is that I amassed a massive collection (of mostly first pressings and originals)over all those yearsand scenarios, and looked after it pretty well (while all the while gently thrashing the hell outta them of course). Butmany I had 2 copies of and will be close to mint. So...I\'m selling some.

(They\'re not all unusual or hideously rare...quite obviously...but there\'s some cool stuff amongst it all.)

...original 1981USA 7\"...onNew AgeRecords...(has no catalogue number...matrix numbers are: MUSICOL-10347/10348)...in pic sleeve...original first pressing...(another one I got by writing to the band via a cracking review in a U.S. mag - \"N.Y. Rocker\" from memory)...

Columbus, Ohio band...their first and only single...but oh what a legacy!...another one that oughta be in anyone\'s list ofthe Top40 indie power-pop 45\'s ever made....anywhere...EVER! Also, in the John M. Borack book \"Shake Some Action - The Ultimate Guide To Power Pop\", this is listed in the Top 30 U.S. Indie Power-Pop 45\'s.

\'A\' side is the true gem here - yet another 10-out-of-10 slice of punk-y power-pop brilliance!!!...with thee most awesome guitar hook, and guitar solo!!...\'B\' side\'s an added bonus as it\'d be hard-pressed to match the \'A\' side, yet in another world, it\'d hold it\'s own as the \'A\' side of any other single...tough, action-packed punk-pop of the highest order!...again with killer guitar!!

CONDITION:

COVER: (EX-)...beautiful!...it\'s basically mint, but I\'ve kept it inside a clear PVC sleeve since, like, forever...and as the art\'s been screenprinted onto glossy paper, the print has stuck to the inside of the PVC sleeve...thus I\'d hate to wrenchthe coveroutta the sleeve, if you get my drift...so I\'m leaving it as is, and it\'ll be sent (with recordpacked separately next to it,of course) with pic cover \'attached\'within PVC sleeve...in a sorta conjoined \'Siamese twin\' fashion...\'they are as one\'......VINYL: (M-)...really, it\'s mint...but I have played it a few times of course, so I\'ll go for M-...so you can\'t possibly be disappointed...LABELS:(Side One:MINT/ Side Two:MINT )...If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my response for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
