Deliveries sent via courier to Channel Islands, Isle of Wight,Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and NorthernIreland may incur a surcharge. We don’t agree with this but our hands aretied with courier companies adding this extra charge of late. Once item paymenthas been received an invoice will be sent for payment of the fee.Alternatively buyers can request an amended invoice before payment.
PO Box addresses – Mostitems over 2kgs cannot be delivered to these type of addresses as our couriercompany needs a home or business street address for delivery. Please inquire ifdelivery is possible to your PO Box address if this is the case.
Customs charges to non-UK customers – You may be liable for additional charges if your order exceeds yourcountry’s maximum set allowance for a particular item. Please be aware of thiswhen ordering expensive items as we will not be held responsible for anyadditional charges to release goods on your behalf.
Questions
We do our best to describe each listing but if youhave any questions about a particular item whilst still live on pleasedon’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our upmost to answer these. Pleasenote though, we may not be able to answer questions if the sale has lessthan 24 hours to go so please be aware of this.
Payment
Payment within 3 days of an sale finishing. ‘Buyit Now’ items must be paid for at once. Payment preferred via Paypal but we doallow payment by cheque (UK only) for some items.
Cheques (UK only) - Bank charges have meant we can no longer accept chequesunless the total order is over £50. Please inquire if you would like to pay bycheque. Items paid by cheque will not be dispatched until funds have cleared inour bank.
Multiple orders
We aim to offer better postage rates if you ordermore than one item from us at a time but this is not always possible so pleasecheck with us first for the best rates. Please also advise us if you arewaiting for other items to finish before completing your order. A revisedinvoice will then be forwarded to you for payment.
Dispatch
We aim to dispatch within 1 working day (two atmost). If there are any delays we will inform you of this but please be awareof any adverse weather conditions that may delay your order reaching you intime. Most items are dispatched via Royal Mail (UK), DHL (Worldwide) or courierdependent on size, weight and value of a particular order. Very large items maybe collected from our warehouse in Oxford where indicated.
VAT
We are a VAT registered business. Our VAT number is183 9989 31. If you require a VAT invoice please contact us via the message service. Please note: The majority of our items are books which arezero-rated (exempt) from VAT.
Problems with your order
Your satisfaction is very important to us andnobody likes bad response but we are only human and sometimes things can gowrong. Please contact us via the methods available within regarding anyproblems before leaving negative response. Any defects, damages, or materialdifferences with your item, must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt ofthe item or 30 days from date of shipment. The returned merchandise must bepostmarked within 30 days of the shipment notification and packed well andsecurely. Return postage costs is payable by the buyer unless found to be faultyon receipt.
Non-deliveries must be reported within 30 days ofShipment Notification.
