You\'re offerding on \"The Lincoln Family\" - an original 1867 lithographic print by Currier and Ives depicting the assassinated President and his family in a domestic scene: All seated at a table, Abraham Lincoln sits in a chair, reading, with son Tad at his elbow, while Mary Todd and eldest son Robert, in his Union military uniform, look on. Print is framed in what is probably its original framing - a deep, period oak frame with gold-toned inner border.
Note that this print has some issues of condition - a tear of about 2\" up from the bottom in the bottom right quadrant, with an antique tape repair on the back side (see photos) - some staining, most evident in the top left corner area, and there is a small piece of the work \"Lincoln\" on the title that is detached from the print and adhered to the glass. Overall some general age toning. Image still presents clean and appealingly, though, and the total presentation in frame makes for a nice antique piece. Total size in frame is 17 1/2\" X 14\" - the print is 14\" X 10\", appears to be slightly cropped along the top margin.
