Up for your consideration is this complete 7 volumes set, bound in 6 volumes of \"The March of Democracy\", by James Truslow Adams. Published by Charles Scribner\'s Sons, 1956. hardcovers. All are bound in navy blue buckram boards, with gilt designed spines and front covers. All contain numerous black and white illustrations and maps.
Volume 1. The Rise of the Union

Volume 5. The Record of 1933-1941
Volume 6 and 7 (bound as 1). The Record of 1942-1948, and The Record of 1949-1955.Condition: All are in uniformly Good+ condition. All have shelf and age wear present. All edges are rubbed, primarily the lower edges as shown. But I think the white shown on the lower edges is not the boards peeling, but they were stuck to something white (perhaps the bookshelf) the peeled of on the books when they were removed, probably sitting for a long period of time. Some mild dings and a hint of chipping on a couple corners. A few spines are slightly loosening from inner binding, but none serious or severe. All have a former bookstore notation penciled on the upper right portion of ffep. A hint of soiling to some page edges. But overall, other than the white whatever is stuck to the lower edges, books are in very decent condition. All bound relatively tight and complete. No other internal markings noticed. A nice set.
