Joseph and Mary arrive late in the night in Bethlehem with only a barn left for them to occupy. It is here that Jesus is born to Joseph and Mary, marking the start of a journey that will end in his death to cleanse the sins of mankind.

Surrounded by animals, you can see baby Jesus lying in a humble manger as Mary sits beside him and his father Joseph behind. A crowd gathers to see this child, with the engraving of “Birth of Jesus” above.

The obverse of all coins in the Biblical Silver Series from Scottsdale Mint has the third-generation depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Created in 1984 by Raphael Maklouf, the image captures the Queen at a much younger age and was used on British and commonwealth coinage from 1984 to 1997.
