The Oxford India Paper Dickens Copyright EditionThis is a rare complete set of Dickens books (17 volumes)They are all published by Chapman & Hall and Henry Frowde and printed at the Oxford University Press.Illustrated by Cruikshank, \"Phiz\" etc.
They each have a Blue Indented Embossed Pattern Binding - Each book has same pattern except the title and an indent/emboss of Charles Dickens on the reverse. A couple of the books have marks on the cover but most are in good condition
The condition of the books are in good overall condition. There is some marking/spots to most of the spines with a little fading but otherwise spines are in good condition. Some brown marks on the first and last pages and yellowing round very edge of pages due to age , and the odd crease ( only one book I think)
These books probably date to around c1900, so have some age-related marks as to be expected, but the pages are clear and bright. Photos give a representative example of each volume - some are slightly worse, some are slightly better, but overall this is a great set in pretty good condition!
