VintageThe Webb House, Wethersfield, Conn. Built in 1752. In this house, known as Hospitality Hall; in 1781, Washington, Rochambeau and others, held council in regard to the siege of Yorktown, which resulted in ending the Revolutionary War. Made in England for Connecticut Society Colonial Dames Wedgwood Etruria England. Approx 9-1/4\" across, approx 3/4\" in height. There are some signs of age/use/wear. There are no chips or cracks.The plate is a reddish pink color. A beautiful floral design around the Webb House. Plate stand in pictures is not included in sale. Sold as is.
