The book appears to be clean and I don\'t see any pen or pencil marks. The exterior of the cloth is a dark burgundy color, with gold gilt letters on the front that reads Theodore Roosevelt. The spine is also gold gilt lettering. The binding is starting to come loose at the hinge slightly otherwise it seems to be fairly intact. There might be foxing, bumped corners, yellowing, staining, markings, etc. since this is an old vintage book. This one seems to be pretty nice and clean. I have to mention this all in case someone else might have a different opinion. Please review all the photos. If you have any questions, please don\'t hesitate to contact me. This is a very nice book!
