This work is an original print by Utagawa Kunisada also known as Toyokuni III. He was a pupil of the great Toyokuni I and a schoolmate of Kuniyoshi. He had a lot of disciple as Sadahide, Kunichika, Kuniaki, Chikanobu, etc… The print a typical example of the art of Kunisada and the ukiyoe‘s art in Edo period. This print is a single print. It represents a thief holding a lantern. Behind him, we can see darts. A very rare and intresting print.
