I did the research on this spoon and this is what I discovered about it. It\'s one in a series / set of historical spoons. The complete set of silver plated Presidential collector\'s spoons by W.M. Rogers. The set of spoons covered the first President- George Washington through the thirty-seventh President-Richard Nixon, with one spoon for Grover Cleveland who was the twenty-second and the twenty-fourth President. The front side of the handle of each spoon has a picture of the President, the dates he was in office, and presidential number. In the bowl of each spoon is a depiction of a \" Monumental\" event directly related to that President during his term. The back side of the handle has the manufacture\'s name and the letters I S ( standing for International Silver) stamped there as well.We are offering only (one) spoon in this listing for President Thomas Jefferson. It is NOS in good condition for its vintage age, the gold finish series, as this spoon is from, were made in the 1970\'s ( the first series of Presidential spoons made in the 1960\'s was only silver finish). It comes in its own display/gift box. It has a gold finish over silver plate. Very nice addition to any spoon collector, or American history collector, or American Presidential history collector\'s collection to have even one from this series.
