I have a beautiful Swiss made Thorens Double Claw lighter from the 1930s or 40s. Elegant ocean waves design. There are no dents or dings. There is a little wear on the base. THE ENGRAVING BOX HAS NOT BEEN USED! . The lighter is marked on the bottom: Thorens patent, Fab. Suisse Switzerland. Overall very good condition with very little use. Wick looks new. It will require a tune up to get the the lighter to fire, there is no flint in it. The screw down lock and push button work perfectly. Although the lighter has not been tested, it is complete, minus the flint. A fantastic addition to any collection. My father had an over 10,000 lighter collection.
