This is a traditional Mexican \"bruñido\" (burnished) folk art tile that comes from the city of Tonaláin the state of Jalisco. The wonderful muted colors and stylized designgive ita great earthy feel.It is in excellent condition, with just a little bit of wear commensurate with age (mid 20th century)andtwo flakes (last photos).
