You are looking at a beautiful Treenware hand-turned and carved hard wood vessel/jar/container of undetermined \"old\" age. Possibly antique. This is ingood vintage condition.There are no chips or cracks~ just normal wear on the finish. The wood grain is very nice. It standsnearly 15\" tall with the lid on. The bottom section is 5.25\" tall and the top section is 9.5\" ~ the opening is 3\" across ~ bottom is 3.5\" and the widest part is about 7.5\". The interior is clean. It is carved out evenly all the way to the top of the lid.I can\'t tell for sure but do imagine that the small top area was carved as a separate piece ~ however it is not removable. Ihave tried to show photos from all sides so that you can see the overall piece. If turned upside down the top fits down into the base with it\'s very smallest piece just resting at the bottom of the urn. There are many ways to display it.. This urn is really lovely and so well made. (The light you see on the bottom of the inside of urn (5th photo) is just reflected lighting in the photo - and not a spot on the wood).
