This is a Depth Photography filmstrip for Tru-Vue. It advertises Tru-Vue filmstrips. This is a very unusual Depth Photography because it is in color. Also unusual is that there is no fading in the color. The color is as beautiful as I have ever seen on a Stereochrome(see photo). This film may never have gone into production because I think this one is a test and not a production filmstrip. The filmstrip has no heavy buckle and curl which is always found with Tru-Vue filmstrips. It is made on the old Ansco Color 738filmstock with standard 35mm perforations. Near mint condition. There is no box for this. Since it is a test, there probably never was a box. Production date is 1950.

What are Tru-Vue filmstrips? They are 35mm filmstrips, with an amber tint, produced in the 1930\'s and 40\'s. They are on positive safety stock, not nitrate stock. Each filmstrip usually has about 14 scenes and a title image. Each scene has a description at the bottom of the photo. Each scene is in eye-popping stereoscopic 3D. The photographic quality is usually excellent.

These filmstrips capture life and popculture in the 30\'s and 40\'s better than Viewmaster,who is the successor of Tru-Vue and eventually bought them out.
