True Vintage 90s black lace chiffon cocktail dress from London H&M Size 6:

Wanted: new home for a beloved \"Little Black Dress\" from the early days of H&M. H&M is now all over the USA, but in the 80s and 90s it was only found in Europe, and at that time was called just \"Hennes\", which means \"hers\" in Swedish. It then became Hennes & Mauritz, and was shortened to just H&M worldwide.
History lesson over; I bought this lovely lace and chiffon cocktail dress at the Flagship London H&M in the early 1990s, and it\'s in excellent shape for its age. I wore it when I was in a wedding party in the mid 90s (it was an evening wedding and we all wore different 60s-style cocktail dresses; more weddings should be like that!) and it has been stored carefully most of the time since then. I would still be wearing it if it still fit me!
The dress has a black lace bodice, satin ribbon straps, a wide satin bow-trimmed high baby doll style waistband, and a full knee-length chiffon skirt. The dress is fully lined in acetate. Closes with a concealed zip in back. Its overall style never dates!MEASUREMENTS:Width of high waistband*, laid flat: just over 14 inchesFrom top of strap to bottom of waistband, laid flat: 14 inchesLength, from bottom of waistband to hem: 23 inches
*Actually not the true waistband; this would be just below the bodice, about where you would measure for a bra. There is no stretch in the material here, so this is the most important measurement.
