17 cup canister has two very minute rough spots inside. Very minimal peeling on edge of a couple flanges. There are a couple small areas of peeling near the very bottom of the canister.

12 cup canister has a little bit of peeling on the outer edge of the flanges. The outer edge of the seal has a little bit of peeling present.

Both seal fit well. Just press in the center to seal. Lift up on one edge to open.

Air tight seals keep food fresh and bug free.
