A bit tarnished but otherwise this silver & gemstone picture frame, purchased in 1967 in Taxco by my mother, is in wonderful condition.
It has been sitting in acuriosity cabinet for all those years as is, and only occasionally polished up.
I leave any newpolishing up to the new owner.
There is another one of these on right now but it is only Turquoise & Amethyst, and does not include the red coral.
I measure it at 4.25 inches from top to bottom and also side to side…see photo with rulers above.
The Silver hallmark of MATL SALA is most likely the son of Matilde Poulat, who used this hallmark until about 1980.
