Thanks a lot.A man in NSW2537, Australia who has bought many mantle clocks from me. He stated that the clock is authentic. In 29th November 2016, an er sent me an email that I cited below:
\"Your Bracket Clock by James Murray looks original. I have had a few James Murray clocks over the years. James Murray set up an agency in Calcutta in the early 1800s. I picked my clocks up in Bombay in the 1980s-90s . This looks like a clock that was sent out to India during the 1800s from London. The movement is good however the case is not the prettiest and could have been a locally manufactured case . The label on the inside and bottom of the clock are of a firm in Calcutta so that all ties in. As you say it need some restoration on the case. Quiet often clocks that were handled by Murray in India eg James McCabe and similar ended up with a small brass trade plate nailed to the back of the case.Trust this helps\".
