Up for sale are these two 1950\'s dolls. The first is an American Character. I believe this is a Toni doll. Toni was a Gillette advertising doll for Toni hair products. Stands about 10\" high. She has a lovely sweet face with vibrant color. Her crystal clear blue sleep eyes open and close as they should. Body is made of vinyl and she has flanged joints which have held up well over the years. Her head, arms and legs are still tight in their sockets and they all move easily. The 1958 American Character trademark is incised on her lower back. She is dressed in a red and white Nancy Ann dress with open toe high heels. The second doll is not marked. This piece stands about 8\" tall and is dressed in a green and black dress with a pink flower. Snaps are not attached as seen in photo. Doll has sleep eyes and moving arms and legs. Left eye sticks a bit although does open and close. Also included is shown dress from Nancy Ann. This dress has become a bit stained over the years. Please offer according to pics.
