Two Early 1800\'s Hide Boxes / Instant Stack / Civil War Era / AAFA / NR:

I found these two hide boxes together in Brimfield. They appear to have been made by the same hand. Both are pine with hide covering, with leather and brass studs. The larger one has wallpaper interior. They have their original brass handle and iron closures. They date to the early to mid 1800\'s and are wonderful. The condition is as-found with the larger one missing most of the hide on the front and an early wooden replacement behind the closure. The stud work is stunning on both. Selling as a stack.
Dimensions: Larger one is 15-14\" wide x 9-3/8\" front to back x 7-1/4\" tall. Smaller one is 10\" wide x 6-1/4\" front to back x 4\" tall. Together they weigh a hefty 8 lbs 4 oz. I am offering a Buy It Now price on these which will disappear upon opening offer being made.
