This is a very large U.S. Army ring which I believe to be sterling silver. Inside bottom portion of the band has the letters STER and the ring does not attract to a magnet. The ring sizer I have only goes to size 13 and this ring is larger than that by quite a lot. Diameter of this ring is about 15/16 of an inch. On the face the ring has the U.S. Seal and the words United States Army. Depicted on the right side of the ring band is the Viet Nam service ribbon and the words Republic of Viet Nam Service. These letters etc. are very clear and not worn. Depicted on the left side of the ring is the Purple Heart with ribbon. There is some wear on the face on the Purple Heart side. Colors on the Purple Heart and Viet Nam Service ribbon are very clear and not damaged. There are a few nicks and scratches and some paint loss in one of the grooves on the outer bottom portion of the ring band. Overall the ring is in very nice condition. Will be sent in a ring box. Have not seen many like this listed. There are initials in the top inside portion of the band and the years 1965-1967. I will not provide the initials in the ring. I DO NOT GUARANTEE that this ring is sterling silver. External main color of the ring is gold on the top and a portion of the sides but the bottom half of the band is silver in color.
