Founded in July of 1971, Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma is situated on 800 acres along northern California\'s Pacific Coast.

Containing 219 buildings and more than 200,000 square-feet of space dedicated to training, it consists of 10 separate schools that provide instruction to 4,000 students each year. Training Center Petaluma provides service-wide instruction in leadership and total quality management for a wide range of specialties. It also offers performance enhancement courses for emergency medical technicians and computer systems personnel.
