Getting more and more rare anddifficult to obtain, genuine U.S. Military issue wrist watch made byGLYCINE with the dial name ALTUS of Switzerland, in great condition.Suitable for everyday wear.

Non-relective stainless steel case,screw-down case back with military specs on it...see photos.

The maker is a well known supplier ofmilitary wrist watches, made in Switzerland, for the US government,with a stainless steel case, screw-down back and with a 17 jeweledhigh beat maintainable hand wind up Swiss movement. Operating welland ready to wear and enjoy. Nice crystal with some very lightscratching from normal wear/use. Shock proof, water resistant,and has great illumination on the hands and markers, and has thehacking feature of stopping the seconds had when the crown is pulledout to set the watch. Solid lugs.

I have been informed these wereproduced for the U.S. Military, supposedly for the US Air force foronly one year and then never again made. Only produced in 1986.

Watch measures 33mm in diameterexcluding the crown, 17mm between the lugs, and approximately 42mmfrom lug tip to lug tip.

Comes mounted on a black military nylon through the lugs strap...sets the watch off beautifully. The photos show the wrong strap on the watch, photos taken before strap changed to a solid black military strap of the type used with these watches. Had to get rid of the one pictured on the watch in the listing...buckle broke and I had to throw it away.
