Dwight D. Eisenhower Appreciation Medal 1960 Newport. One of a series of medals struck at the United States Mint, for Ike\'s lame duck around the world goodwill trip in 1960. The medals were given to dignitaries at each stop, as well as to the legislators and their assistants who accompanied them on the trip. A full set of the nine medals is very difficult to complete as some of the medals are very difficult to find. Struck in Silver, 38 mm in diameter, and in unc. condition but poorly cleaned with hairlines, so will call it extremely fine condition.
