Hardbound deluxe set 1986-1991Complete set of 5 books published between 1986 till 1991 for the US Navy veteran\'s group, Submarine Veterans of WW2. From my Grandfather\'s estate; he was a WW2 vet that served on diesel boats, and was a long time member. Books are 12-1/4\" x 9-1/4\", hardbound without dust jackets, and feature an embossed relief logo with gold & silver coloring. Condition is VG, with only a few scuffs and shelf idents to mar the covers. Pages are crisp, bright, and unbent. Bindings tight. I seriously doubt anyone has ever been through these books page by page. These books are chock full of original photographs of boats, life on board & crews, stories, new articles, biographies, and everything else you would expect from a veteran\'s group. Includes Vol 1 (503 pages), Vol 2 (252 pages), Vol 3 (397 pages), Vol 4 (360 pages, and a comprehensive index for all 4 volumes (56 pages). A rare collection that was printed in very limited numbers, perfect for anyone interested in the USN silent service or WW2 Naval history.
