  • Part of the M-1951 Army Cold Weather Uniform - \"... cold weather conditions encountered in Korea in the winter of 1950-1951 caused considerable suffering and loss of effectiveness of U.S. troops, whose supplies of cold weather clothing did not reach troops in time for their first winter in Korea. While well designed clothing was in the Army (and USMC) system, efforts to work off existing supplies of M1943 pattern and post-war pattern clothing kept the newer, more effective clothing from ramping up to full production. The M1951 uniform had a number of components intended for all weather conditions but was particularly aimed to be effective in cold weather, wet or dry...\"

  • 6 Inside Waist Buttons for ATTACHMENT to other Clothing or Suspenders/Straps
  • 2 Side Slip-in Pockets
  • No OUTSIDE Waist WATCH Pocket but an INTERIOR one Button SECRET POCKET on Right Side at Waist under Strap Adjuster (photo #7)
  • 2Rear/Back FLAP Pockets - each with one Button FLAP Closure
  • 3 STAMPED Labels - 1 Size label in Waist with STOCK #; 2nd Label with Manufacturer and Specs is on the Underside of Inside Pocket Flap; and 3rd Label is on the outside of interior back pocket flap with Care/Laundering Instructions
  • These pants are the REAL DEAL, VERY NICE, and look FABULOUS to me - I see NO ISSUES and NO EVIDENCE of them ever being ISSUED. They were used for GARRISON and DUTY and included all Uniforms for Dress, General Duty, Formations and Ceremonial Use. Changes in U.S. Army garrison and field uniforms began after World War II and were accelerated by the Korean War that started in 1950. During the 1950s, significant new uniforms were introduced - these Trousers were evidence of the change in FIELD WOOL SERGE Trousers from the 1940\'s which mostly had a BUTTON Fly and Outside WATCH POCKET, just to name a couple of modifications

  • 100% GENUINE Army Military Specified and Manufactured during the KOREAN WAR - This Pair is a REGULAR - MEDIUM but I have almost this exact Pair in a Size LONG-LARGE and another Pair in size REGULAR-LARGE as well as SEVERAL MORE pairs in this size (REGULAR - MEDIUM) - all in UNSSUED / NOS Condition
  • And I have the M-1951 COLD WEATHER Field Shirt in Medium that was also part of the KOREAN War Clothing
