U.S. Vietnam Jungle Boots, NOT Spike Protective, Early Pattern 8-64, Size 11R VG:

Early pattern U.S. Army and USMC Tropical Combat Boots manufactured in August 1964 in size 11R (11 Regular). These have the Direct Moulded Sole with Vibram tread, but before the spike protective feature was added in 1966. These also do not have the 2-inch wide nylon webbing ankle support that was also added in 1966. Condition is very good and they appear to have been lightly worn. There are a couple of small marks on the fabric uppers (see photos); manufacture tags on tongues are in great shape. These are an excellent example in a good size of early Vietnam War jungle boots as worn when U.S. involvement escalated in 1965.
