For sale is this almost never seen 1880 $10 Silver Certificate. This note is often referred to as the \"Morris\" note. Robert Morris was one of the original Founding Fathers and signer of the Declaration of Independence. He would later become a Treasurer and Senator and ended up in debtor\'s prison!! In our opinion this extremely rare note is a Solid Fine. It is very crisp with sharp edges, nice large margins and super color. It does have some edge nicks and a few pinholes consistant with the grade. This note is Fr.287 with the signature combination of Scofield and Gilfilan. There are only 72 known notes for trhis series!! This is a once in a lifetime note!!
