ULTRA RARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE BRASS LENS ENGRAVED CLARUS 12 blades !GREAT PATINA
I am selling a unique vintage brass lens
It was made in the end of 19 century or beginning of 20 century.
Engraved only one word - \"Clarus\".
I have not found such a lens in the internet so this is an ultra rare item.
This is a portrait lens of Rapid Aplanat type or similair.
I think focal distance is about 200-250 mm.
Minimal aperture is F8 though the lens is not small.
Height is 8 cm, diameter is 6 cm. Weight is 400 gr.
I tested it on a FKD 18x24 and it covers its area!
Visual CONDITION IS very good for ITS AGE.

Glass is great.

I do not see scratches, fungus, fog or balsam separation.

Aperture blades are working nice.

There are 12 blades!

Body of thelensis in nice condition. There is nice vintage patina.

Comes with a third party mounting flange made for this lens.
