UNIQUE ANTIQUE 1800s HOME SPUN? WOOL APPLIQUE EMBROIDERY DETAIL SKIRT:

A unique antique skirt that looks to me to be homespun on a dark oat meal color wool. The skirt has a pleated hemline and a teal color wool insert around the bottom of the skirt that detailed with needlework and an embroidered diamond shaped velvet with an embroidered flower. You can see in the last two photos that there\'s a large water stain spot in the back of the skirt ~ some small holes in the wool fabric ~ some wear on the detailed hemline ~ and the cotton waistband has tears & wear, also the closure is missing. It\'s otherwise in sound, strong and excellent antique condition, very wearable. Measures 36 1/2\" length, 38\" waist, 75\" hem line.
