This sale is for two (2)usedUnited California Bank / Master Charge credit card payment envelopesfrom1970.These payment envelopes have the United California Bank - Beverly Hills office address pre-printed on the front. In addition, the bottom left corner of each envelope has the \"Master Charge\" logo printed on it.United California Bank began as California Bank in 1920, with the \"United\" added to the name in 1961. In 1981, it was renamed again to First Interstate Bank of California. Finally, in 1996, it was acquired by Wells Fargo Bank, National Association.Master Charge was founded in 1966. In 1979, it was renamed MasterCard and has operated as such to this day.Envelope #1 (top) has a return address from Lake View Terrace in the San Fernando Valley. The postmark reads, \"San Fernando, California\"and dated,May 18, 1970. The cancelled 1970 6-cent U.S. stamp is\"American Bald Eagle\". This envelope is inexcellent condition, with the exception of the rings made by a wet cup or glass.Envelope #2(bottom)has a return address from La Habra in Orange County. The postmark reads, \"La Habra, CA\" and dated,May 15, 1970. This cancelled 1970 6-cent U.S. stamp is\"African Elephant Herd\". The envelope is innear mintcondition.Both envelopes have the tops cut open evenly by machine.
