Very interesting December 1940 Seaman First Class Navy Training Certificate. Certificate is signed by Commander E E Duvall of the USS Bowditch, a hero of the battle for Okinawa. This ship earned 3 battle stars for rescuing many sailors who were victims of Kamikazi attacks. Also signed by JEHavens, another US hero.
