This sale is for an unusual old handpainted porcelain nappy or candy dish. It is unmarked, but it almost certainly Japanese in origin. The bowl has a shell design to it and a handpainted decoration of pink and green. In addition, there are handpainted medallions of flowers. There is also some moriage trim. The dish is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some slight wear to the decoration, attributable to age. It measures about 5 1/2 inches across. Payment accepted with Paypal.
