Rare Enea and Anchise large dish (tondino), hand painted majolica from \" The Fire in the Borgo\" painting by Raphaël (1514-1517), made in Urbino Gubbio, workshop artist renaissance inspired, circa 19th Century. The border is luxuriously ornate with animals, musicians, cherubs.... 17 1/4\" (44cm) diameter by 3 3/8\" (8.5cm) height. It\'s named and signed on the bottom. Beautiful condition for this exceptionnal dish as shown by the following pictures.
