USScott #728 horizontal pair tied to cover with \"CHICAGO, ILL.MAY2511 AM 1933\" and \"A CENTURY OF PROGRESSWORLD\'S FAIRCHICAGO1933\"slogan cancellation,Scarce Lou Kreickerbrown\"OFFICIAL FIRST DAY COVER - CENTURY OF PROGRESS -MAY 25, 1933\"cachet, slight wear and aging, Unaddressed,Beautifulcondition andappearance!

*Aninteresting note about this cover was an error the Post Office made. Therate for first class mail was 3c, and this FDC should have had atleastthree 1c stamps or added the 3c stamp (#729) to pay the requiredpostage. Since there was only 2c postage on the cover, the Post Officeinadvertentlydid not require the additional 1c by adding\"FeeClaimed by Office of First Address\" or another \"Postage Due\"handstamp on the front. This is an unusualexample of this error andmakes this cover even more interesting.
