The specially designed LC-14-B \"Woodman\'s Pal\" was included in nearly every emergency kit to clear jungle trails, prepare game, and if necessary, use as a hand to hand weapon. This US Army AAF WW2 PILOT LC-14-B WOODMAN\'S PAL FLIGHT SURVIVAL MACHETE is in good condition, with a chip in the right blade tip, some chips in the upper blade edge, some patina at the middle right side of the blade, moderate patina to the exposed portion of the tang,a bit of loosening to one upper handle washer,missing about 15% of the upper handle washers, and with some scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured).Otherwise, the machete is in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it features an 11.75\" blade with the classic notched and hooked tip, boasts a stacked leather washer handle, and is stamped \"LC-14-B\" along the lower portion of the bowed steel guard. It retains approximately 95% of the wartime OD finish on the blade and guard, carries its model and maker, \"WOODMAN\'S PAL / 280 / VICTOR TOOL CO\", stamped at the lower right side of the blade, and is a fine example of a rare, originalUS Army AAF WW2 PILOT LC-14-B WOODMAN\'S PAL FLIGHT SURVIVAL MACHETE.
