This pair of British WW1 RFC ROYAL FLYING CORPS Mk II PILOT FLIGHT GOGGLESare in very good condition, with some light scattered delaminating around the outer edge of each lens, some light scattered whitish patina to the metal lens frames, and with some light overall fragility and age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the goggles are in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, they feature striking amber tinted \"tear drop\" lenses, boast an inward folding nose hinge, and sport an elegant brown leather face piece. They bear a fully intact blue cotton head strap, carry no maker\'s marks, and are complete with the original WW1 RFC ROYAL FLYING CORPS Brown Leatherette Case in very good condition, with a few small spots of dark soiling at the upper front, a scuff in the bottom front left corner, a horizontal line of surface cracking along the middle top flap, some overall fragility, and with some scattered age wear evident (most pictured).
